Parts One and Two will be here, because during part one, the internet clocked out due to the rain. Boo to that! But we ended up finishing, so here it is!

eBay Auctions up to help pay for APE CON!!!

Hey folks, I am just putting up a blog here to let you guys know that I have an eBay auction up right now. The money for these auctions will help go toward paying our way to APE Con in SF this year. So if you can help out, that would be wonderful. There are 4 items up for sale. You can take a look at them here...

Each of the colored items have starting bids of $14.99 w/ Free Shipping in the US. The sketchbook Black & White: HEROES has a limited run of 22 copies remaining, and sell for $5 each. Every book gets a FREE Sketch. So if you would like to support us in our endeavors to make it to APE, check out our auctions, and bid if you can! Thanks a lot Moonwatchers!

More Changes, and things moving forward!

I don't know about you guys, but we are really excited. Things are going so well right now, that the anticipation is making me super happy. I wanted to announce that the SketchCard Mini Artbook is being put together, and is almost ready to go. In the next few days, there will be an official release date for the mini book, as well as information on how you can get your hands on one.

The projects of Obsidian Studios are moving forward, and steadily and we are very excited about the prospects, and the course we are going. White Ninja Guy has been put on hold for the time being right now as we are busy putting together pieces for an anthology artbook that Obsidian Studios will be premiering this year. Hopefully it will be at the APE Con in SF, if we get the money to do so. I am confident that we will, so we will see how things pan out. 2010 is going to be a great year for Obsidian Studios and there are a lot of things to look forward to.

Sketchin It w/ Ian Walker is going to go through a possible change in broadcasting night if you fans think it needs to be changed. There is a poll up on my main account on my personal Darkmyster DA Site as well as the Obsidian Studios DA Site. Go there and vote! Also on Deviant Art a new group is in the process of being formed called Obsidian Moonwatchers. We call all of our fans 'Moonwatchers' and there will be a place for all our Moonwatchers to go and hang out. There will be contests and art jams and other things there to wet you guys palettes for the things to come. So check out the Obsidian Studios Deviant Art Site for more info on that. Be sure to watch, and keep watching! So that is it for now, we will holler at you folks later!

Talk to you later,

New year, New Format for Sketchin It!

Yessir, so it's 2010, right? There is always room for improvements in the things that we do. So with that said, I'm going to be taking the webshow Sketchin It w/ Ian Walker, which is a pretty good success for a webshow so far, and add something else to the mix which I hope will not only draw new viewers and fans to Obsidian Studios, but something that will be a learning experience for all you viewers out there. One or two times a month, I will attempt to schedule a Skype interview with a famous artist. The point of these interviews is to help get the word out about these artists, to help them get new fans but also give some words of encouragement and tips on how to improve style and technique in your artwork. Hopefully they will have time to hang out and chat with us as well during the show, and have a good time. I am in the middle of trying to figure out how I will do this so that you all can benefit, but the plan is to have you viewers call the show to ask our guest a question. More details will be made available on my blog, and both my DA pages.

Obsidian Studios DA Site & Ian Walker's / Darkmyster's DA Site

So... this month, there will be only one guest. But I hope to have that changed in the coming months. This month, I plan to interview Franchesco! You may be familiar with some of his artwork

Get your questions ready to go, and I will ask a few of them during the interview! So if you would like to ask anything, just remember to keep it clean and be respectful of the guest.  I will take only a few live questions as well over the Skype line, and you must limit it to one question. I hope that this will be the first many great and inspirational interviews on Sketchin It during 2010. Remember to spread the word folks! And get ready for a great year!
